La Citadelle de Diamant – Marius

This wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot from the superb Ramat Ha-Golan’s Nov vineyard, producing one Ton per 1⁄4 acre. It has a deep, sharp flavor with a slight sourness to it. It has a salmon-colored shade as well as English toffee and citrus aromas. It leaves a bit of oiliness around the cheek along with a melon flavor and a hint of passion fruit. It also has a mineral finish with a hint of Lychee.
Culinary match: It fits perfectly with fresh goat cheeses, honey, olive oil, seafood and fish, sage and cilantro flavors, thyme herbed chicken and tropical fresh fruit.
Drink chilled, between 10-14°C.

Tasting Notes : This Cabernet Sauvignon has a good brightness, red dark color. The nose is really attractive, with black current and coffee. The palate is medium bodied with fine tannin, well balanced, with a floral and spicy long finish.

Food Pairings : The Marius will perfectly accompany red meat, roast beef, culinary food, with friends around the table!
